The molecular mass is calculated as twice the vapor density according to the GMV (Gram-Molecular Volume) law.<br \/>\r\n<\/section><br \/>\nThe GMV Law is commonly used in experimental chemistry to estimate the molecular mass of unknown gases. Since hydrogen has the smallest molecular weight, it serves as a reference for comparison. By measuring the density of a gas and dividing it by the density of hydrogen, we obtain the vapor density. Multiplying this value by 2 gives the approximate molecular mass of the gas.
