mH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Calculation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>$$L_{\\text{total}} = 10 + 22 + 3.3 = 35.3~\\text{mH}$$<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\r\n<\/section><br \/>\nWhen inductors are connected in series, their total inductance increases as the magnetic fields reinforce each other. This is commonly used in power supply filtering, tuning circuits, and energy storage systems. If there is significant magnetic coupling, mutual inductance must also be considered.
