mH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Calculation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>$$L_{\\text{total}} = \\frac{10 \\cdot 15}{10 + 15} = \\frac{150}{25} = 6~\\text{mH}$$<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\r\n<\/section><br \/>\nWhen inductors are connected in parallel, the total inductance decreases, similar to resistors in parallel. This configuration is useful when a specific inductance value is needed but only larger inductors are available, or to share current load. It\u2019s common in power electronics, RF circuits, and filters.
