Child Gender by Parent Blood Type

Although not scientifically guaranteed, this method is based on popular theories and traditions that associate blood compatibility with gender probability. It can be a fun and curious tool for expectant couples.

Parent Blood Type Compatibility Theory

Formula
$$\text{Child Gender} = f(\text{Father’s Blood Type}, \text{Mother’s Blood Type})$$

There is no scientific formula, but traditionally:

  • If both parents have the same blood type, the child is more likely to be male.
  • If blood types differ, the child is more likely to be female.

This is based on Eastern and folk traditions rather than medical evidence.

This tool uses a traditional belief system that analyzes the combination of parental blood types (A, B, AB, O) to predict whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. Though not scientifically validated, many families use this as part of their early pregnancy planning. It’s commonly used in Eastern cultures where such predictions are part of family traditions. Select the blood types of the mother and father to see the likely gender outcome.
